  • MS Teams

Registration is closed

EMTC is hosting a Save E-commerce - Save De Minims Open Forum where e-sellers, marketplaces, logistics companies, and others involved in the e-commerce industry can join an MS Teams meeting and ask EMTC leaders questions about the President's Executive Orders suspending de minimis shipments from Canada, China and Mexico as well as U.S. Customs and Border Protection's Proposed Rules on Entry of Low-Value Shipments.

EMTC will be discussing the President's new Executive Order on Reciprocal Tariffs and Amendment on PRC as Applied to Low-Value Shipments. Customs duties on all shipments (including low-value de minimis):

  • Canada = 25% ad val.
  • China = 20% ad val. + 34% ad val. for all modes except postal which has 30% ad val. or $25 (additional duties for China start May 2nd as Commerce has advised the President that CBP and USPS can collect duties from China and Hong Kong post)
  • Mexico = 25% ad val.
