EMTC is hosting a Save E-commerce Open Forum to provide updates on the following issues:

    • Which countries have a "trade deal" with the U.S. and which countries may be subject to reciprocal tariffs starting on August 1st?
    • What tariff rates apply on August 1st after the President's new tariff deadline for countries to complete trade deals?
    • When does de minimis really end?

This session is designed to provide an update and answer questions by e-sellers, marketplaces, logistics companies, and others involved in the e-commerce industry.

Bring us your stories about how these tariffs are affecting the cost of your products sold online.  If you can't make the Open Forum, check out our YouTube channel EMTC - Simplifying Global E-Commerce.

Share this information with colleagues and send us your stories about how the low of de minimis is affecting your business by completing E-Sellers De Minimis  form

Space will be limited at each session to allow for dialogue so sign up early.

With tariffs here to stay and de minimis going away, many e-commerce merchants are being pitched a silver bullet that claims to reduce U.S. duties and fees by up to 80% with minimal effort on the merchant's part. In fact, some merchants are told they can set up this model in 48 hours with less than $900 in fees. Sound too good to be true? It is. One trade lawyer quipped, "They should call it B2B2C-U-N-Court because that's where merchants will land."

In this webinar, we dive into the B2B2C model, what it takes to be compliant, and why it is not a viable option for most ecommerce merchants. We will cover:

        • The B2B2C logistics model
        • 3B2C, or B2B2C + Merchant of Record
        • Customs Value basics
        • Transfer price
        • Intercompany sale price
        • U.S. tax implications
        • What it takes to survive an audit
