EMTC has submitted a written statement for the record on the HWM Trade Subcommittee Hearing on Advancing America’s Interests at the World Trade Organization’s 13th Ministerial Meeting, which was held on February 7, 2024.

Specifically, EMTC stated that the U.S. should prioritize completion of the WTO E-Commerce Agreement (Joint Statement Initiative) and promote liberalized digital trade policies to enable the free flow of data necessary for cross-border e-commerce.
