About the ISO/IEC 17024 standard

The highly recognized ISO/IEC 17024 Certification of Global Trade Professionals (GTP) is the only international standard for Global Trade Professionals across national boundaries. The program supports trade professionals throughout their career path from gaining strong foundations with micro credential badges to earning the ISO/IEC 17024 certification. The GTPP measures and certifies a person's trade competence based on their current knowledge, skills and experience. This provides a baseline for growing your knowledge in new areas of trade responsibilities. Trade professionals can select micro credentials (badges) to experience specialized areas of trade. Experienced Trade Professionals can upgrade their ISO designation with a Specialist Passport in any of 15 areas of trade.
